(KSL News) -- Derek Parra today earned the chance to defend the Olympic gold medal he won four years ago in Salt Lake City.
Putting aside thoughts of a painful divorce, Parra earned a spot on the US Long Track Speedskating team by finishing third in today's 1500 meters at the national Championships.
