CEDAR CITY -- A Cedar City man was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years to life in prison in [the shooting death of his wife](http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=7690036). Tristan Lamoreaux, 25, pleaded guilty Jan. 25 in 5th District Court to murder, a first-degree felony. Police say he shot his wife, Misty Lamoreaux, 19, in the couple's apartment on Aug. 23, 2009. She was found in a bathroom with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

After hearing from the victim's aunt and brother, Judge Michael Westfall also imposed a $19,000 fine but left restitution up to the state Board of Pardons and Parole, court records show.
