(KSL News) A high-speed crash leaves one man in serious condition while two others walk away. Officials say seat belts made the difference.
The driver was speeding southbound on I-15 near the south interchange when he lost control, hit the barriers twice and slammed into a retaining wall. The driver was not wearing a seat belt. He was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
At least two other people in the car were wearing seat belts and walked away from the crash. Investigators say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
