(KSL News) BLM officials say three fires burning in the state over the weekend are now under control.
The largest of the fires happened in Box Elder County and was caused by a lightning strike. It burned close to 4000 acres.
A fire in the Stansbury Mountains burned more than 1,700 acres, and a third in northern Utah County burned 1,900 acres.
None of the fires came close to homes.
