LEHI -- Over a hundred die-hard Harry Potter fans are currently watching a Harry Potter marathon at the Megaplex Theatres at Thanksgiving Point.
Some showed up in costume at 8:00 this morning, others in pajamas as they got ready to watch 18 hours of movies starting with 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and finishing at midnight with the showing of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
Amanda Hadley dressed up as Bellatrix and says she prepared for the marathon by getting "lots of sleep."
Daniel Reese says he plans on maybe getting some sleep in during the third movie so he can be wide awake for the final stretch. He also says movement in the chair is key to keeping your back end from being to sore.
Millie Osguthorpe made the trip to Lehi from Ogden and said her mom let her miss school for the day to attend. As for her excitement level to see the midnight showing, "Very, very, very, very, very, very excited."

Megaplex Theatres spokesman Jeff Whipple said they sold over 125 tickets at $35 a piece for the marathon. The ticket includes entrance to all the Harry Potter movies, including the midnight showing, along with all you can eat popcorn and soda.
"They are in there in all their glory," said Whipple. "These are the die-hards. These are the ones showing true commitment. They were with Harry from day one and will see him through to the bitter end I'm sure."
Whipple says Thursday night is a huge night for them. They'll be holding midnight Harry Potter showings on 72 movie screens with over 18,000 people in the seats in both regular theaters and at the IMAX screens.
