Sammy Linebaugh reporting This weekend could be one of the last to get out and enjoy the incredible colors.

Here is a wrap of what some of what you have seen and shared with us...while "Hiking Utah."

The Crimson Trail -- five miles up Logan Canyon -- could be named for its vivid colors. But actually, it was a favorite hike of college students dating back to the 19th century. Back then the school colors of Logan's old Brigham Young College were crimson and gold.

The two mile round trip takes you along what's known as the China Wall, a massive stretch of limestone believed to be the result of millions of years of sediment from an ancient sea. Stunning year round...this time of year, it is an assortment of color.

Moving south to Stewart Falls, the Sundance area is awash with fall shades. From the base of the Sundance resort, Mt. Timpanogos is in full view.

You can take chair lift up a good part of the way, for 5-dollars. or follow a marked trail. Two miles round trip gets you up close to the falls: 200 feet of cascading water.

If the Salt Lake Valley is closer to home, Dog Lake, accessible by Millcreek or Big Cottonwood Canyons, is a perfect place to reflect.

By air, we checked out Big Cottonwood's other favorite spots and found explorers surrounded by red, right near Lake Blanche.

To get lakeside, where Blanche sits with sisters Lillian and Florence, is six miles round trip. The more ripe colors, before you reach the top. The trailhead is 4.4. miles up Big Cottonwood.

Wherever you go, this time of year natural wonders await, as each season brings a new shape.
