SALT LAKE CITY -- A bird struck an airplane Tuesday afternoon that was landing at the Salt Lake International Airport.
A KSL News viewer sent us photos of what was left of the pelican and the plane's windshield. They show significant damage to front of the aircraft.
Continental Airlines says the commuter jet, en route from Houston to Salt Lake City, was still able to land. None of the 49 people on board were injured.
