(KSL News) A group of students at Provo High School has applied to start a homosexual after-school club.
They're calling it a gay/straight alliance, and it would be the first of its kind in Utah County.
The club would be for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered students, and straight students with gay family members. Right now, school officials are thinking they'll have to allow the club.
Tonight the school board will vote on what to do.
About 30 students say they'd join the club. They haven't found a teacher willing to be an advisor.
