LOGAN — For the second week in a row, a Utah State player has earned a Mountain West Player of the Week honor; Bruce Natson was named the MWC Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday after returning a career high five punts, a career best 102 yards. Natson also returned a punt 65 yards for touchdown in the final minutes of the second quarter, his first touchdown in the return game.

His touchdown return is the first time since 2007, an Aggie has returned a punt for a touchdown, when Kevin Robinsonreturned a punt 70 yards for a score against Nevada.

Natson nearly had two touchdown returns, but his 75 yard touchdown in the third quarter was called back due to an illegal block in the back.

This is the first time Natson has received a player of the week honor as an Aggie, he currently ranks fourth in the Mountain West and 33rd in the country with 9.1 yard return average.

Natson follows senior cornerback, Nevin Lawson, with player of the week honors; he was named Defensive Player of the Week after his two interception, nine tackle game. Utah State has a bye this week; their next game will be Nov. 2 when they host Hawaii.
