Utahns planning trips to Europe, despite economy

Wanderlust: Don't think for a moment that the slack dollar has slackened the desire to visit our European cousins.

"The euro is so much stronger than the dollar that they don't care, they're going to go," said Lisa Clow, with Thomas Travel in Ogden.

She says she is making almost as many travel bookings now as a year ago.

"It's almost the same. I would say it's gone down maybe 10 percent, maybe 15 percent, if that," she said.

But some Europeans, such as the French, say they are seeing fewer Americans on the streets.
