(KSL News) The University of Utah's College of Nursing is about to receive a multimillion dollar makeover.
Dignitaries, staff and students today launched the renovation project by bubble-wrapping the building's 7-foot statue of Florence Nightingale.
The 40-year-old building will be outfitted with the latest technology, new office space and larger learning spaces.
Work on the $23 million project begins in January and will take a year and a half to complete.
