Gene Kennedy ReportingSome parts of Tooele County got more than a foot of snow with this latest storm. It was definitely one of the hardest hit areas of the morning.
Mother Nature wasted no time bombarding Tooele with snow and some the people watching it come down all morning were truckers.
Nancy Pritchett, Truck Driver: "As I was comin' down off the mountain and stuff, pretty much as soon as I hit the state line out of Wyoming, it just went white. And it was gorgeous. Compliments to the road crew, roads were all nice and clear compared to Wyoming."
Billy Pritchet, Truck Driver: "This is actually really nice. We got stuck in Wyoming for 140 miles on a solid sheet of ice. This is actually a lot nicer."
At Tooele's Flying J truck stop we found snowed in big-rigs and truckers looking for a warm up. They say fortunately they have not encountered too many accidents on the road.
And fortunately, for those involved in crashes, there have been no major injuries. A multiple car crash off 201 in Magna looked worse than it really was. A Mazda and semi-truck with crunched front-ends, and a Chevy truck took a traumatic ride over a concrete barrier.
