The Naked Cowboy hits the streets of Salt Lake City

Randall Jeppesen reportingIt's been downright cold this week, but that isn't stopping a guy who became famous for playing his guitar in his underwear outside in New York City from hitting the streets of Salt Lake City.

With his cowboy hat, boots, guitar and just his underwear, the Naked Cowboy says he isn't afraid of Utah's cold.

He says, "The real thing with cold, cold, cold weather is your fingers. I mean, it's just that simple."

He's here representing the Exofficio underwear brand. He's here showing off its wares at the Salt Palace.

The cowboy says he's going to be out performing in the cold this morning, at least for short periods of time.

He says he's been to Salt Lake once before, and he's glad to be back, even if it's freezing.

The Naked Cowboy will be appearing around and in the Salt Palace for the rest of the week.
