Sentencing delayed for man convicted of running prostitution ring

(KSL News) A man convicted of running a prostitution ring in Cottonwood Heights was supposed to be sentenced today, but a judge delayed the hearing.

Steven Maese left the hearing without heading off to prison, in spite of felony convictions related to the Doll House, an escort service he operated.

Maese had filed a series of new motions. The judge in the case decided to consider those motions before handing down a sentence.

Maese had a similar hearing in September with a similar result.
