Ragsdale makes first court appearance

(KSL News) A man accused of shooting and killing his wife in a crowded church parking lot made his first appearance in court, but he's no closer to standing trial.

David Ragsdale was supposed to have his initial appearance in court yesterday. He was there, but prosecutors said they did not want to move forward with official proceedings until police had finished their investigation into the crime.

Kristy Ragsdale was shot outside an LDS Church meetinghouse in Lehi earlier this month. Shortly after, David Ragsdale turned himself into police.
