(KSL News) One new member of the legislature will start the session tomorrow not knowing if he will get to keep his job.

Ogden Police Chief John Greiner is still waiting for a ruling from the US Department of Justice on whether or not he was even a valid candidate.

The Office of Special Council raised questions about it in October due to his job with the city. If they rule he was not a valid candidate Grenier will either have to quit the force or give up his seat.
