MOUNTAIN GREEN, Morgan County — A motorcyclist was flown to the hospital after crashing into a guardrail Friday afternoon in Morgan County.

A motorcyclist was headed south on state Route 167 (Trappers Loop Road), a few miles north of Mountain Green, when it was going too fast for a curve and crashed into a guardrail, Utah Highway Patrol said.

The driver was taken by helicopter in serious condition, UHP Lt. Cameron Roden said.

The road was closed while troopers responded to the scene, but it has since reopened, Roden said.
