OGDEN — A man who was found dead near his father’s home Sunday has been identified, according to officials.

Officials do not know how Chad Tyes, 34, died. A preliminary autopsy indicated there was no trauma, but officials are waiting for a toxicology report, which should take two to three weeks, according to Sgt. Matt Jensen with the Weber County Sheriff’s Office.

“Detectives were on scene for several hours and as of now they do not suspect foul play,” Jensen said.

Sunday, police were calling the unattended death suspicious, but Jensen is confident the death was not foul play.
