TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (AP) -- Authorities say a mother and her two children fell nearly 20-feet off a freeway onramp --- and survived.
It happened yesterday on a ramp leading to southbound I-215 on the east bench near 4500 South. That's where fire officials say a vehicle failed to negotiate a sharp curve.
Officials say the vehicle then shot off the embankment, dropped about 20 feet onto the freeway and rolled --- ending up on its hood.
Fire officials say the woman and her two kids had to be extricated from the vehicle. They suffered non-life threatening injuries, and were airlifted to the hospital.
