Greek Festival to come to a close

(KSL News) Baklava, gyros, music and dancing filled downtown Salt Lake this weekend.

Of course that can only mean one thing: It was the annual Greek Festival.

Members of Salt lake City's two Greek Orthodox parishes hosted the festivities this weekend. It's the largest ethnic festival in the state.

The Greek Festival near 300 South and 300 West runs until 11 p.m.

And when all is said and done, festivalgoers will have consumed 5,500 pounds of pork loin, 1,600 pounds of feta cheese and 20,000 stuffed grape leaves.
