UPDATE: According to the most up-to-date information Saturday from local fire officials, the Toquerville Falls Fire has burned 38 acres and is 50% contained. The blaze was also said to be human-caused.
TOQUERVILLE, Utah -- Crews responded to a wildfire near Toquerville Falls Sunday afternoon. According to Utah Department of Natural Resource's Fire Management Officer Mike Melton, fire crews were called in around 12:30 p.m. just south of the falls. The fire grew to approximately 10 to 15 acres. Melton said no structures or people were threatened, and a cause for the fire was not given.
