SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A father convicted of kidnapping for taking two daughters around the world was sentenced to three years in prison by a federal judge who called him dangerous.
Vojko Rizvanovic was given credit Monday for time already served, about 15 months.
Rizvanovic, of Macedonia, was in a custody dispute with his common-law wife and took the children from their Clearfield home.
He was arrested more than a year ago after getting off a plane in Vienna with the children in tow.
U.S. District Judge Tena Campbell said the man was violent and that his family needed protection from him.
