BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Sen. Byron Dorgan says he expects Delta Airlines to add flights between North Dakota and Salt Lake City.

Dorgan is hosting a meeting on Thursday in Bismarck with Delta President Ed Bastian. Dorgan says he met with Bastian last month in Washington, and requested that the airline consider establishing direct service between North Dakota and the Delta hub in Salt Lake City.

Dorgan says Bastian will likely make the announcement of expanded flights on Thursday.
