Delegates share experience through blogging

Utah's Republican delegates are using the Internet to try to share as much as they can about their convention experience.

Whenever there's a moment to sit down and reflect on what's going on here at the convention, you'll notice some of the Utah delegates pull out their BlackBerries and start typing.

Utah Republican Party Vice Chair Todd Weiler says it's all part of their emphasis on blogging to keep their fellow Republicans back in Utah up-to-date.

"Every one of our bloggers, unlike the Democrats, we're all fully-credentialed delegates, so we'll be blogging from the convention floor," Weiler said.

It seems like there's always a desire to out-do your competition, and that has extended to the blogosphere at the Republican convention. The Utah democrats were blogging away when they were in Denver, and now the Utah Republicans are blogging at full force.
