ST. GEORGE — Mentally, Jake Segura never thought he would be where he is today.

The lead singer of the up-and-coming band Citizen Soldier said it has been a long journey, but he is determined to share his story of mental health and spread a message of hope and healing.

Based out of Salt Lake City, the band is on a North American tour currently sharing the emotional lyrics by Segura who at one time was hospitalized for psychiatric care in 2016.
