Cement truck loses brakes, ends up on its side

(KSL News) A cement truck ended up on its side this evening in North Salt Lake.

The driver was working in a neighborhood near the accident scene at 1019 E. Eaglewood Drive when he realized his brakes had gone out.

North Salt Lake police officer Drca said, "Realized he had a couple options: go down the road or put it on its side. So he took the safe route and put it on its side."

The driver was shaken up, but not hurt. It took several hours to clean up the mess and get the truck out of the neighborhood.
