(KSL News) Health workers are trying to find out if several people who got sick after camping near Utah Lake are victims of a bacterial disease called "tularemia."
The State Health Department says the disease is generally spread by ticks or deer fly bites. Symptoms include fever and swollen lymph nodes.
An undisclosed number of people reported symptoms after camping on the west shore of the lake.
The department is awaiting lab tests to confirm the presence of tularemia.
