(KSL News) Hill Air Force base officials say air samples from seven buildings don't contain harmful chemicals.

Officials tested for evidence of two chemicals used in degreasing solvents. The soil and groundwater near the buildings were contaminated decades ago.

Environmental engineers were trying to determine whether vapors from the chemicals were coming up through the soil into the buildings, where employees could inhale them.
