SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- AAA Utah says the average price for a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Utah is $3.62 a gallon, up 36 cents when compared with last month.
The national average is $3.73 a gallon, a 40 cent increase over a month ago.
AAA says both the Utah and national averages are records highs.
Arizona has the lowest average price at $3.52 a gallon and Alaska the highest at $3.98.
In Utah, Moab has the highest average price for self-serve regular gas at $3.70 a gallon. Salt Lake City has the lowest average at $3.54.
AAA Utah says all the Intermountain West saw significant prices increases in the past month.
