4 injured in rollover wreck

(KSL News) Four people are recovering from a rollover accident in Salt Lake City overnight.

Salt Lake City police Lt. Fred Lewis says an SUV was hit by a car at 800 South and State Street. The impact caused the SUV to roll several times. A woman was thrown from the SUV while a man had serious hand injuries.

"It looks like he had a severed right index finger. Talking to doctors later it appears his right hand was crushed," Lewis said.

Lewis says all four of the people injured were taken to the hospital and are expected to recover.
