SALT LAKE CITY — The Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne was evacuated on Tuesday after officials received a report of a suspected IED in the building. The Wyoming Highway Patrol said the building was evacuated quickly, and that a "multi-agency, precautionary response (was) underway." By Tuesday night, officials said the investigation was continuing, and the WHP asked people who may have witnessed suspicious activity to come forward. "If any suspicious activity was seen or recorded in the early morning hours of October 21st, please contact DCI Wyoming [Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation]," the WHP said. On Tuesday evening officials updated the road closures that had been in effect and said that all streets that had been closed or impacted were open. [gallery ids="835003,835002,835004"]
