The jack-o'-lantern project we're obsessed with this Halloween

Every jack-o'-lantern has a face. This year, yours can have the face of your favorite little person!

Creative force and friend Jill Broadbent shared this Halloween project.

Supplies

• Carvable foam pumpkin
• Printed photos
• Kitchen knife
• Hot glue gun
• Battery-powered light puck
• Ribbon, scrapbook paper, embellishments

Instructions

1. Decide how many photos you want to display.
2. Print photos slightly larger than the opening you'll cut so there's enough overlap to glue them inside the pumpkin.
3. Use a knife (non-serrated) to cut openings the size and shape of your photos.
4. Turn the pumpkin upside down and cut an opening in the bottom large enough to hold your light puck.
5. Hot glue around the edge of the photo and secure each picture inside the pumpkin through the hole in the bottom.
6. Place the puck light inside the pumpkin and replace the bottom. When turned on, the light shines through the photos.
7. Cover the edges of the photo frame with ribbon, paper or other embellishments.
