MURRAY -- Santa left the North Pole a little early this year to spend Saturday night with some special Utah kids.
Children of all ages dressed in their pajamas and joined Jolly Old Saint Nick at A Wishing Place in Murray for the Make-A-Wish Foundation's "Cookies with Santa" event.

The kids did craft projects, read "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" and enjoyed cookies and juice.
They also got a chance to tell Santa what's on their Christmas list this year.
"When they see Santa their eyes just light up," said Christine McAtee, the director of Community Outreach for Make-A-Wish. "They get so excited to tell him the things that they want. I asked them and they won't tell me, because then they won't get it."
The director of the event said it's a great opportunity for kids to come have some fun and just be kids again.
