WEST VALLEY CITY -- A jury convicted a West Valley City man of stabbing another man to death, in what prosecutors described as a robbery over movie money.
According to the Deseret News, 21-year-old Thomas Soules was convicted of murder and aggravated robbery in the September 2007 stabbing death of David Farrimond.
Prosecutors say Soules had gone to a drive-in movie, and his ticket was paid for by a friend who insisted on being repaid. Soules came across Farrimond in an LDS church parking lot, took his money and killed him.
Soules will be sentenced Jan. 22.
