SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies are looking for car thieves after a car plunged down an embankment in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Around 2 a.m. a passerby spotted the car crashed but still running about 100 feet off the road and called 911.
When deputies arrived, no one was inside the late model Chevy Impala.
Investigators believe the car was stolen out of West Jordan sometime overnight and pushed down the ravine.
