PARK CITY -- Skiers and snowboarders are being invited to register their equipment with the Park City Police Department.

The property can be registered online at ParkCity.org. Registered equipment cuts down on thefts and makes it easier to recover property that does get stolen.

There is no charge for registration of your property. Those completing the registration will be sent the registration stickers through the mail.

The police department will also periodically set up registration booths at the ski resorts, or residents may register their skis at the Park Avenue police facility during regular business hours.
