(KSL News) Chilly temperatures couldn't stop swimmers from taking a dip in the Great Salt Lake today.
These daring divers are freezing for a reason -- to raise money for Special Olympics Utah.
Nearly 200 people, at four locations across the state, participated in this year's Polar Plunge. By the way, we're told the Great Salt Lake was a chilly 26 degrees.
"It's cold. It's freezing. But it's worth it. It's for a good cause."
Organizers hoped to raise 10 thousand dollars. The money would pay for events at the upcoming Winter Special Olympics.
