SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Jazz are getting ready for Thursday's preseason opener against the Northwest Division Champion Denver Nuggets. But so far, the Jazz are hurting a bit.
Andre Kirilenko is limited with a quad strain, an aggravating injury he came into camp with.
C.J. Miles is limited a bit by a hip flexor injury, but the team says it's not serious.
Then there's Kyle Korver. He's out for a few days after an MRI on his sore knee.
"This is our third day, so we just try to make sure we don't push somebody too far; and then know when to back off and get treatment instead of trying to be Superman. Then they're out another two months," said Head Coach Jerry Sloan.
The good news: Carlos Boozer is fine.
