(KSL News) A crash involving a semi truck shut down several lanes of traffic on Interstate 80. The collision happened around 2:30 this afternoon on eastbound I -80 in Parleys Canyon.
Troopers say one driver was backing up in the emergency lane to help another driver when he veered into traffic.
A white SUV hit her from behind, and spun out. A semi truck hit the SUV.

Troopers were forced to narrow the freeway down to one lane while they cleared the wreckage.
No one was seriously hurt.
