SALT LAKE CITY -- An African children's choir touring the nation made a stop in Utah Friday. The Matsiko Choir entertained students and faculty at Northwest Middle School with singing and dancing.

The choir is made up of 25 orphaned and at-risk children from Uganda. All of them are sponsored through the International Children's Network, and they're traveling the United States to raise awareness of children around the world who live in poverty.

The choir will perform at the school again Friday night at 7:00. The performance is free and open to the public.
