PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Roll up your sleeve for a post-Christmas bargain. Utahns can now get a flu shot for $15.

The Utah County Health Department is slashing the price from $23 because of a surplus of vaccine. Health officials say they're having a hard time interesting people in getting a flu shot this time of year. They say for whatever reason people think once you get into the holidays, the vaccine won't work.

However, the health department claims the flu season doesn't usually peak until February --- meaning there's plenty of time for protection.

Meanwhile, the Davis County Health Department reports 3,000 doses available. While, the Salt Lake Valley Health Department ran out of the vaccine for adults, it still has doses available for children.
