OGDEN -- An Ogden man who stabbed his wife's friend to death in a fit of rage was sentenced Tuesday to 16 years to life in prison.
Kurt Wangler pleaded guilty to killing Tony Padilla while he was on work release from jail in February. He admitted to stabbing Padilla to death when he found him with his wife.
Wangler then kidnapped his wife, but she was found safe a short time later.
At the time of the murder, Wangler was serving time for assaulting his wife.
