SALT LAKE CITY -- A stranger and the community are coming together to help a family who lost five members in a car accident.
Veronica Martinez, Ricardo Ramirez and their three children died last weekend in an accident on State Road 201.

The family doesn't have enough money to pay for funeral expenses, so a group of strangers organized a fundraiser Saturday to help with the cost.
Hilda Echegaray helped organize the event. "My heart goes out to them. My prayers are out to the family," she said.
So far, the family only has enough money to bury the 15-year-old daughter and still need thousands of dollars for the other four.
The group plans to hold several more fundraisers.
