SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A new online tool is helping Utah residents kick the habit.
There's a new Web site designed to help people struggling with substance abuse. The site offers therapy locations and advice on getting over addictions.
The Web site has been up and running for two months, and has already had more than 300,000 hits. Besides location resources, people can look through a library of peer-reviewed articles. They have access to topics, such as, how to stop drinking and helping a friend get treatment.
Addicts aren't the only ones using the Web site. Experts are also going online to get information on medications and questionnaires that help people gauge their level of treatment.
