(KSL News) A man has been arrested for child abuse.
Detectives say Michael Bay hit his 2-month-old son's head against a wall and squeezed him so tightly that six ribs were broken, all because the infant wouldn't stop crying.
On Sunday, Bay and his wife took the infant to Primary Children's Medical Center for a brain injury. They told the doctors the baby had bumped his head on a coffee table four days earlier, but police say the injuries weren't consistent with his story.
According to the Deseret Morning News, two other children living in the Bay's house are now in the mother's care.
Additional charges may be filed pending further investigation.
