SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- An arraignment scheduled for the man charged with smothering 5-year-old Destiny Norton and then sexually abusing her dead body is being postponed until next week.

Craig Roger Gregerson had been scheduled to appear before 3rd District Court Judge Robin Reese this morning. But the arraignment was rescheduled to December 4th, and Gregerson did not appear.

Gregerson is charged with capital murder and child kidnapping. If convicted, Gregerson could face the death penalty.
