WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police are looking for a man who beat a convenience store clerk during a robbery.

It happened early Monday morning at the Holiday Oil on 3219 West and 4100 South.

Surveillance pictures show the man wearing a gray hoodie.

Police say the man pried the rear door with a crowbar. He walked into the office where the clerk was counting receipts and then hit the clerk with the crowbar.

He left the store with the receipts.
