(KSL News) A detective working on a murder case in Pocatello, Idaho says a teenager admitted he and a friend killed a classmate.

This was made public during a preliminary hearing yesterday.

Detective Andy Thomas testified Brian Draper and Torey Admcik had been watching a movie with Cassie Jo Stoddart and her boyfriend in September.

Draper then admitted the two stabbed Stoddart with hunting knifes.

Attorneys for the boys objected to the testimony and were upset the detective talked about evidence they did not know about.

Also released in court... documents alleging the two boys used torture methods when killing Stoddart. Draper and Admcik face charges of first degree murder.
