(KSL News) -- A smart thinking teen fended off her attacker.
Police say Ignacio Gonzalez approached the 17-year old while she was sitting on the lawn of Granger High School yesterday after school. He told her to get in his truck.
When she refused he grabbed her arm. She resisted and ran into the school.
The Granite School District police were called and began a search and spotted Gonzalez's truck parked at a nearby fast food restaurant.
After the victim positively identified him, he was booked in the Salt Lake County jail.
