(KSL News) College students in Utah may be feeling a pinch in their wallets. That's because tuition in Utah is surging faster than the national average.
The Deseret Morning News reports that Utah may no longer be a low-tuition state.
After years of increases near 10 percent each year, the state is edging into a medium-tuition range.
The national average tuition increased 6 percent at a four-year school.
However, annual college tuition in Utah is still relatively cheap, coming in at close to 4-thousand dollars, compared to almost 6-thousand nationally.
